This fabulous Moorcroft Pansy vase signed with green signature to base, clearly stamped to the base, decorated with fine pansies on a dark blue ground, comes with no chips or damage, in 1897 William Moorcroft obtained his Art Masters certificate, which would have enabled him to earn a living by teaching, but he had his heart set on a career as a potter, William Moorcroft developed a formidable reputation as a designer with his work featured in high-end China stores worldwide including Liberty & Co and Tiffany’s, decades after, his designs continue to captivate collectors hearts and minds worldwide, this is a lovely example, the dimensions are 14cms wide standing 24cms tall, I am happy to deliver locally for a small fee, or arrange a courier nationally, please feel free to visit our new showroom in Bretherton, or website https://theoldcornmill co uk 440
