Description
A mixed bundle of 7 mid-century leather balls & boots
The 1950/60s size5 18 panel football is in good strong original condition & still fitted with a functioning vintage Beritex latex bladder as is the pre 1950 size4 12 panel ball. Though some of the stitching on the size4 has broken (see images) the remining stitches are still holding strong.
The vintage American RR5Y junior ball has a new bladder as does the 2 size5 & the size4 rugby balls. The very rare size3 child's league rugby ball is still fitted with it's equally rare size3 bladder & functioning well.
One of the size5's a Slazenger has been branded (see images) but remains strong, however in contrast the other 1940's Mark Cross is in exceptional condition.
The size4 is very play worn with a multitude of surface damage, no doubt caused by the vicious nailed studs of the day.
The large 1950's size12 rugby or football boots are in great condition & fitted with 1st generation aluminium studs. The earlier children's size11 boots are also in great condition with nailed leather studs.
