2 x Vintage, West German, Stoneware, Beer Steins, Pewter Lids, Decorative

Description

You are looking at two, genuine vintage steins from West German. Both are made from stoneware and come with metal (we believe that is pewter) lids (attached to the handle). Were given to my parents many many years ago as a gift but were found recently during a turn out of the attic and now they need a new home.

Both are very beautiful and would make excellent decorations. Of course, you can also drink from them as well. Condition, as per the pictures. Details of each stein below.

Stein One:-

Height:- 19cm, Total Width:- 12cm, Body Circumference:- 8.2cm (Approx)
Material:- Stoneware
Lid Material:- Metal (Pewter we believe)
Shape:- Straight
Age:- Between 1960 - 1980 (At a guess)
Decoration:- A beautiful map of the Rhein, flower and house pattern, decorative lid, tree themed handle.
Condition:- The bottom has a chip, otherwise excellent for the age.

Stein Two:-

Height:- 17cm, Total Width:- 12cm, Body Circumference:- 8.0cm (Approx)
Material:- Stoneware
Lid Material:- Metal (Pewter we believe)
Straight:- Curved
Age:- Between 1960 - 1980 (At a guess)
Decoration:- Flower and house pattern, Germans in traditional dress, decorative lid.
Condition:- Excellent for the age.
