This is a beautiful, large 16th-century Chinese Porcelain Swatow Charger Plate from the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644).
The impressive piece with hand-painted decoration with a blue and white design, depicting floral motives and stylised characters like 'Fu' (for good fortune).
It is an exceptional survivor from the period, when you consider it is now approximately 445 years old!
Offered in fabulous original condition with merely 2 or 3 tiny edge chips commensurate with age.
