Description
For sale is a Rotel RB-985 MKII. In ok condition - marks/dings/surface corrosion present in places and there is a screw missing from the back. Speakers buzz very loudly when the L/R RCA inputs are used; an issue that has been documented elsewhere on the internet. Suspect broken ground pins on the left and right terminal blocks (no such buzz when the centre channel RCA connection is used).
It does however come with a DB25 D-Sub serial cable to mitigate the issue (selling for £58 from a well known internet auction site), but it is not very long, so bear this in mind. When this is used, it does sound excellent.
Have a close look at all photos to judge condition for yourself. Note all those specks you see on the top/sides etc are not dust, they are marks/corrosion that won't wipe away.
