Description
The Staffing Network is a labour provider across the UK.
Assistant to Harvesting Manager required to work from Holme-on-Spalding-Moor YO43
Type of Work: Mushroom harvesting operations – crop planning, picker supervision, training, and food safety compliance.
Shift Patterns: 5 out of 7 days to suit business needs. Weekend work and overtime during peak periods required. Breaks include 2 x 15 minutes and 1 x 30 minutes.
Pay Rates
* PAYE: Competitive (rate dependent on experience)
* Holiday Pay: Included
* Overtime: Available during peak periods
* Weekend Work: Required as per rota
Requirements
All applicants must have:
* Mushroom picking experience
* Supervisory experience in a mushroom farm
* Good communication and people management skills
* Basic IT and numerical skills
* Ability to work flexibly and manage crop planning and picker performance
Desirable:
* Experience as a Harvesting Manager
* Advanced Food Hygiene qualification
* Degree-level education
