A well–established engineering firm located on the outskirts of Newry, specialising in the design, manufacture, and maintenance of machinery for the screening and crushing industry. With a strong reputation for quality and innovation, they are now seeking a skilled Hydraulic Fitter to join their growing team.

Your new role

As a Hydraulic Fitter, you will be responsible for the assembly, installation, and maintenance of hydraulic systems used in heavy machinery. You'll work closely with the production and engineering teams to ensure all hydraulic components are fitted to specification and tested thoroughly. Responsibilities include fitting and assembling hydraulic components and systems, diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs and maintenance, reading and interpreting technical drawings and hydraulic schematics, working to tight deadlines while maintaining high standards of workmanship and supporting continuous improvement and health & safety initiatives.

What you'll need to succeed

Ideally you will have proven experience as a Hydraulic Fitter, ideally within the screening and crushing industry, strong understanding of hydraulic systems and components and the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and good problem–solving skills and attention to detail and a proactive and team–oriented approach
