Salary: £38,000 - £44,000
We are currently recruiting for a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join a thriving team of ground investigation engineers at a head office located in Derby. As a successful candidate, you will play a critical role in the design, supervision, and management of site investigations, interpretative reporting, and mentorship of team members. This opportunity comes with an attractive salary range and plenty of room for continued professional development.
Key Responsibilities of the Senior Geotechnical Engineer role:
Leading the design, supervision, and management of site investigations
Preparation of interpretative reports and earthworks specifications
Mentoring and managing team members
Assisting in the collation of all project Health & Safety DocumentationQualifications / Experience / Skills required to be considered for the Senior Geotechnical Engineer role:
A degree in one of the Earth Sciences, ideally with an MSc in Geotechnical Engineering, Engineering Geology or similar
Hands-on experience in a ground investigation role within the UK
Proficiency in geotechnical investigations, analysis, and design
Membership in the Geological Society (or similar) and working towards chartered status
Full UK Driving License is essential
Live in or near to Nottingham
