Job Title: Learning & Development Consultant

Rate: £17.72 per hour

Location: Edinburgh Hybrid (in-person training delivery required)

Hours: Monday - Friday, 08:30 - 17:00

Duration: Until March 2026 (ASAP start)

Job Purpose

The Learning & Development Consultant will support the successful implementation of Mosaic by delivering high-quality training and business readiness activities. The postholder will be responsible for developing training materials, facilitating both group and individual learning sessions, and ensuring staff are fully equipped to adopt the new system.

Key Responsibilities

Develop clear and accessible training packs and supporting documentation.

Facilitate classroom-based training sessions for groups of up to 20 participants.

Provide 1:1 training and tailored support for individual learners as required.

Deliver structured walkthroughs of the Mosaic system to ensure user confidence.

Work collaboratively with the Business Change Lead, Training Lead, and wider project team to support overall business change and knowledge transfer.

Contribute to organisational readiness by supporting staff through the transition to Mosaic.

Person Specification

Experience in the design and delivery of training, both group and individual.

Strong facilitation and presentation skills.

Ability to communicate complex information clearly and effectively.

Experience in developing training packs, guides, and supporting materials.

Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across multiple teams.

Organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage workloads effectively.

This is a hybrid role, however, training delivery will primarily take place in person. The role will require flexibility to meet the needs of staff and the project during the implementation phase.
