Role: Head Housekeeper/Junior House Manager

Days: 5 days per week

Hours: 7.30am – 5.30pm

Location: Chelsea, SW London

Salary: £65,000 - £75,000 gross per annum

Contract: Permanent

Start: Flexible

We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Head Housekeeper / Junior House Manager to oversee the daily operations of a private household in Chelsea, South West London.

This hands-on role involves maintaining the property to the highest standards, managing household staff, coordinating maintenance and repairs, and ensuring the home is always immaculate and ready for the Principals.

The successful candidate will also take charge of wardrobe management, front-of-house duties, and support with errands and travel preparation. Strong administrative skills are essential, as the role includes managing inventories, household accounts, and liaising with external contractors and internal teams.

Discretion, attention to detail, and a proactive approach are key to excelling in this position.

Key duties and responsibilities;

Maintain a high-standard, well-organized home Oversee staff, contractors, and daily operations Manage wardrobes, laundry, and packing Supervise housekeeping, supplies, and appliances Support front-of-house duties and errands Handle inventories, schedules, and household admin

To be considered for this role you must;

Have 5+ years of experience working as a Housekeeper/Head Housekeeper within a private household Have a valid passport Hold the rights to work within the UK Have excellent contactable references Be fluent in English Language
