Salary: Around £34,000 (Negotiable and dependent on Experience) + Generous Bonus

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent (44 hours per week)

Job Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused individual to join a well-established plumbers’ merchant team as a Branch Sales Assistant. This role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service and providing essential administrative support in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service, assisting customers with product selection and inquiries.

Accurately process sales transactions and manage account-related queries.

Build and maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business.

Promote new products, special offers, and seasonal promotions.

Handle telephone and email inquiries promptly and professionally.

Assist in the warehouse as required.

Assist with deliveries as required.

Candidate Requirements:

Previous experience in a plumbers' or builders merchant environment is preferred.

Strong customer service and communication skills.

Basic knowledge of plumbing and heating products is advantageous.

Proficiency in using sales and inventory management software.

Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.

A proactive approach and ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting.
