Accounts Assistant – Cradley Heath

Office-based

Are you a recent graduate or currently studying AAT and looking to build a career in finance? This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive business in Cradley Heath as an Accounts Assistant, where you’ll gain exposure to all areas of finance and be given the opportunity to develop into management accounts over time.

What you’ll be doing:

* Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions

* Assisting with credit control to ensure timely payments

* Completing bank reconciliations and resolving discrepancies

* Supporting the month-end process and wider finance team

* Getting hands-on training to progress into management accounts

What we’re looking for:

* A graduate in finance/accounting or an AAT studier keen to learn

* Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach

* At least 1 -2 years experience within a finance assistant type role.

* Good communication skills and confidence in dealing with colleagues and customers

* A willingness to learn and develop in a varied finance role
