6 Month Contract (Initial)

We are happy to be recruiting for one of our high-profile banking clients. They are currently looking for a Testing Team - Payments Associate to join them for an initial 6 month contract, however there may be scope for extension.

Role Purpose:

To oversee, prepare and validate system UAT testing.

Monitor testing developments and oversee all UAT.

To be fully proficient on daily BAU tasks, to fully understand processes undertaken and test efficiently and effectively.

To provide feedback to peers and senior management of any updates to the regression testing where required.

To build and maintain core test pack material that can be used in successive system builds.

Attend BAU team meetings and provide feedback on upcoming changes that will affect them.

Provide training on any new processes where required.

Manage ongoing projects from initial discussions through to implementation.

Co-ordinate any system issues and quick win system enhancements to reduce processing/investigation volumes.

Accountabilities & Responsibilities:

Oversee the planning and execution of testing phases for key projects and initiatives.

Ensuring all UAT tests are carried out within timeframes set and senior management are routinely updated of testing status for reporting purposes.

Ensure timely identification, documentation and resolution of defects.

Collaborate with relevant sections stakeholders to define and validate test cases and acceptance criteria.

Ensure timely escalation of risks or issues identified during testing.

Build and maintain strong working relationships with project managers, developers, and business users.

Assist with development of BAU knowledge base, ensuring all users are fully aware of all changes being implemented and provide training where required.

Continuous feedback to management team of progress any relevant updates.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

Accuracy - attention to detail.

Ability to multitask effectively and manage conflicting priorities.

Flexibility - Flexible and versatile attitude is essential due to the range of tasks and deadlines undertaken.

Proactivity - Proactive and self-motivated approach to conflicting deadlines.

Detailed payments knowledge and Industry Standard understanding e.g. PSD2, ISO 20022 and SEPA Messaging.

Excellent understanding of SWIFT payment formatting including ISO 20022.

Excellent communication skills.

Project management experience

Previous system UAT testing experience

Location:

This is a hybrid working role, with a requirement to work from the clients London office 2 days a week.

Working hours:

Standard working hours with some flex where required.
