Description

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Purchase Ledger Administrator for a prestigious, fast-paced client based in Elland, HX5.

This is a permanent role, and an excellent opportunity to gain permanent employment with a well established, growing company who operate nationally throughout the UK, supporting a wide range of clients within the retail, education, industrial and commercial sectors.

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Coding & Posting of Purchase Invoices

• Processing Subcontractor CIS transactions

• Assisting with verifications and setting up new Supplier/Subcontractor accounts

• Preparing and processing Payment Runs and Proforma payments

• Supplier statement reconciliations

• Processing Approvals

• Dealing with supplier queries

• Processing credit cards and expenses

• Responsibility for the Accounts Payable email inbox, dealing with all queries and printing invoices/statements

• Maintaining strong financial controls in the processing of all transactions

• Ad-hoc admin duties

Required Skills/Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a purchase ledger role (+5yrs B2B)

• Can develop strong working relationships

• Good communication and organisation skills, plus the ability to plan and prioritise a busy workload

• An appropriate level of IT/PC literacy, particularly in the use of MS Office applications (Excel)

• Knowledge of Sage 200 (desirable), Sage 50 (beneficial)

• Understanding of CIS (desirable)

• A keen eye for detail and the ability to work with a high degree of accuracy

• Ability to multi-task and work independently

Hours:

• Monday to Friday

• 08.00am to 17.00pm

• 40 hours per week

Salary & Benefits:

• Salary £28,000-£32,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

• 25 days holiday per annum, plus bank holiday
