Ivy Rock Partners are working with Parkinson's UK on their recruitment for a Senior Management Accountant as part of a planned restructure to facilitate the charity's continued growth and expansion.

The Operations team plays a key role in driving that mission. Over the coming years we ll be modernising our systems and processes to ensure they re fit for now, as well as in the future. Much of this work is already underway, and we re now ready to start our exciting new chapter.

We ve been working to get ourselves in the best shape to deliver that progress over the next few years, and we re now looking for ambitious, driven, and purpose-led people to join our team of relentless doers .

About the role

Working closely with teams across Finance, you ll develop the management accounting function, reporting and analysing financial information across the organisation.

You ll drive improvements in our financial and reporting processes, using data and digital tools to boost efficiency and effectiveness, delivering accurate and insightful reporting and analysis that drives data informed decisions.

What you ll do

Develop a management accountant function, instilling best practice, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Develop a suite of reporting tools for organisational insight and analysis through trends analysis, variance analysis, modelling, and scenario planning and ad hoc reporting. Ensure the accurate and timely delivery of monthly management accounts, whilst supporting business partners with key organisational trends and analytical variances. Lead the production and consolidation of budgeting and forecasting templates and reporting tools to aid organisational analysis and planning. CCAB recognised professional accounting qualification. Demonstrable experience in management accounting and financial planning & analysis. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with great attention to detail. Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, especially with non-finance colleagues. Strong technical skills and familiarity with charity financial regulations is essential, SORP is desirable. In particular you will bring demonstrable experience of active management of restricted and designated funds as part of robust financial management. How to Apply
