Description
We’re working with a fast-growing, private equity-backed group to recruit an experienced Interim Project Accountant to support Group Finance through a key systems and reporting transformation. This is an outside IR35 contract, initially for 3–6 months, with hybrid working (1–2 days per week in the office).
Key responsibilities as the Interim Project Accountant:
* Support the integration of Sage 50/200, including UAT and troubleshooting.
* Manage month-end reporting and group consolidation.
* Provide cover for the Head of FP&A.
* Deliver key monthly reports: P&L, cash flow, net debt, and KPIs.
* Assist with forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning.
* Produce ad hoc analysis for senior finance stakeholders.
What we’re looking for from the Interim Project Accountant:
* Strong project or systems accounting experience within multi-entity groups.
* Proficient in finance systems integration, ideally with Sage 50/200.
* Confident communicator, able to work independently.
* Immediately available or on short notice.
