The Financial Controller will be responsible for all aspects of financial management, from day-to-day bookkeeping oversight to strategic planning and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage all aspects of the finance function, including monthly management accounts, P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow

* Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis

* Monitor cost of goods sold, stock valuation, and production costings

* Oversee payroll, VAT returns, and statutory compliance

* Maintain and improve financial controls and procedures

* Support operational decision-making with financial insights

* Liaise with external accountants, auditors, and banking partners

What We’re Looking For

* Experience in a manufacturing or fast-moving consumer goods environment.

* Strong understanding of cost accounting and inventory control

* Proficient in using accounting software (e.g. Sage and Excel)

* Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently

* Flexible, practical, and proactive approach
