Finance Systems Manager – COINS ERP Implementation
Day Rate: £500–£600 per day depending on level of experience, inside IR35.
Contract: 6+ months (likely extension)
Location: South Birmingham
Working Pattern: 5 days per week on-site
Sector: Construction
The Opportunity
We’re seeking a qualified accountant with proven COINS ERP project delivery experience to lead the end-to-end implementation of COINS ERP across growing business.
You’ll be the go-to expert, ensuring a smooth transition from the current system — driving data accuracy, optimising processes, and securing adoption across finance and commercial teams.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the full lifecycle COINS ERP implementation – from scoping and configuration to testing, go-live, and stabilisation..
Collaborate with finance, commercial and IT teams to design efficient workflows and reporting structures.
Act as primary COINS subject-matter expert, providing guidance, troubleshooting, and user training.
Use advanced excel to validate data and support reporting.
What You’ll Bring
Proven COINS ERP implementation experience.
Strong IT literacy and understanding of ERP systems, integrations, and data structures.
Background in construction or similar industry.
High-level Excel skills and comfort with large, complex datasets.
Excellent communication skills to bridge technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Organised, proactive, and solutions-focused with strong project management capability.
Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent), or working towards. QBE may be considered.
