This renowned independent private school is seeking an experienced, qualified individual to provide a crucial function within their Finance team. Framlingham College is an exceptional and prestigious place of learning, and as a result of their continued success, a position has been created for an ambitious individual to join the team.

A typical day for you will include;

Working closely with external debt recovery agents on occasion, you'll be responsible for ensuring smooth payment (and recovery) of school fees. Ensuring suppliers are paid in a timely manner Maintaining statutory accounts Advising on Early Years funding Oversight of the monthly payroll

You'll also be the first escalation point for debt recovery, having conversations with parents and fee payers on a regular basis.

Experience of working in an education environment would be highly preferred as you'll have a strong background of liaising with HMRC, administrating the Teachers' Pension Scheme, and also supporting other functions within the Finance team.

You'll report directly to the Bursar, and have two direct reports of your own within the team (Finance Officer & Finance Assistant).

This is a full–time position and comes with five weeks holiday, plus the option for flexible working. The main expectation however is for you to be in and around the team in Framlingham for the most part.
