Join our dynamic eCommerce team as a Finance Analyst specialising in VAT. Based in our Hackney office, just a 9-minute walk from Shoreditch High Street train station, this contract role offers the chance to contribute to a fast-paced and innovative environment.

Rate: £320 - £365 per day PAYE

What We're Looking For:

Proven experience as a Finance Analyst or similar role, with a focus on VAT.

Strong knowledge of VAT regulations and compliance requirements, particularly within the eCommerce sector.

Proficient in financial analysis and reporting tools.

Detail-oriented mindset with exceptional analytic skills.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

A proactive approach to problem-solving and a strong sense of initiative.

Relevant qualifications in finance or accounting are preferred.Key Responsibilities:

analyse and manage VAT-related transactions and compliance within the organisation.

Prepare and submit accurate VAT returns in a timely manner.

Ensure adherence to relevant regulations and guidelines concerning VAT.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve VAT queries and issues.

Conduct detailed financial analysis to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.

Support the finance team in audits and provide necessary documentation for VAT inquiries.

Assist in the development and implementation of VAT policies and procedures.
