Credit Control & Finance Administrator

Location: Kettering, Northamptonshire

Salary: £26,000 - £27,000 (Pro Rata)

Hours: Flexible - Minimum 30 hours per week (option for full-time)

What You'll Be Doing

Managing credit control processes, including chasing overdue invoices and negotiating payment plans.

Conducting credit checks on new and existing customers.

Processing invoices, payments, receipts, expenses, and petty cash accurately.

Carrying out regular bank reconciliations and resolving discrepancies.

Maintaining clear, accurate records of all communications with clients.

Collaborating with the finance team on cash flow forecasting and debt reporting.

Assisting with general finance administration and preparing credit control reports.What We're Looking For

Proven experience in credit control or accounts receivable.

Confident using accounting software (Xero, Simpro, or similar).

A good understanding of accounts payable and financial reporting.

Strong communication skills - both written and verbal - with the ability to build positive client relationships.

Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.Why You'll Love Working Here
