A reputable and long-established accountancy practice is looking to add a Cloud Bookkeeper to its digital-focused team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with cloud accounting software and supporting a varied client base.

Responsibilities:

Maintaining bookkeeping records for a portfolio of clients using cloud-based platforms such as Xero, QuickBooks, and Dext.

Preparing and submitting VAT returns, ensuring compliance and accuracy.

Reconciling bank and control accounts, reviewing ledgers and balances.

Assisting clients with their queries on software, transactions, and day-to-day bookkeeping matters.

Setting up new clients on cloud systems and supporting smooth on-boarding.

Collaborating closely with internal teams to ensure a streamlined handover to accounts and tax departments.

Supporting junior team members and contributing to a positive team culture.
