Assistant Procurement Analyst – Entry Level

As Assistant Procurement Analyst, you'll join a collaborative team working on supplier performance, commercial strategy and continuous improvement. Your work will help drive key procurement decisions through structured reporting, savings tracking and data–led analysis.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with rebate calculations and monthly reconciliations, liaising with Finance to ensure accurate payments Maintain and reconcile Savings Spreadsheets in coordination with Procurement and Finance teams Support the Procurement Analyst with ad–hoc data requests, contributing to strategic negotiations by identifying trends, savings opportunities and risks Track inventory and direct spend to surface potential cost savings Enhance and manage the functionality of the Spend Cube Contribute to the development of procurement KPIs aligned to the organisation s evolving framework Assist with the creation and processing of Purchase Orders for the Business Services team Support broader reporting and automation projects through structured data preparation Candidate Profile

Degree in Business, Economics, Finance or a related field Strong attention to detail and an analytical mindset High level of competency in Excel (including PivotTables, VLOOKUPs, Graphs) Clear and effective communicator with strong time management skills Adaptable and able to work across departments Experience or familiarity with ERP systems (preferably Oracle Fusion) and reporting tools such as PowerBI is desirable Demonstrated interest in procurement or commercial analysis through work experience or internships Progressing towards or interested in pursuing a professional qualification such as CIPS or ACCA This is more than a junior analyst position it's your launchpad into a commercial career built on data, insight and strategic thinking.
