Assistant Management Accountant

Description

An opportunity has arisen to join a leading organisation as an Assistant Management Accountant. You will support month-end reporting, general ledger activities, and audits, with exposure to a finance system implementation and the chance to help improve processes across the team. Within this role, you will report into the Finance Manager and also have the opportunity for hybrid working.

Within this Assistant Management Accountant role, you will be tasked with the following duties:

• Support month-end closings and financial reporting

• Analyse accounts and provide insights

• Assist with audits and compliance

• Prepare ad hoc reports and review processes

• Collaborate with finance colleagues and wider business teams

As the successful candidate you will have previous experience working within a similar role, with good knowledge of month end processes. You will also have strong excel skills, and be comfortable using accountancy systems. Other attributes you will possess include:

- Part qualified ACCA/CIMA or equivalent

- Strong communications skills

- Excellent organisation skills

- Ability to work to a high degree of accuracy

- Short notice/immediate availability will be considered advantageous
