Teaching Assistant - Corby

Location: Corby

Start Date: September 2025

Contract Type: Full-Time | Long-Term / Permanent

Salary: Competitive daily rate (based on experience)

Are you looking for a meaningful role in education where you can support young people and make a real difference in their school journey?

We're working with several well-regarded secondary schools in Corby who are looking to appoint Teaching Assistants for the new academic year starting September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who's passionate about education, whether you're experienced in school support or looking to begin your journey in the classroom.

What You'll Be Doing:

Working closely with teachers to support pupils across KS3 and KS4

Providing 1:1 or small group support to students, including those with additional needs

Helping to deliver targeted interventions and classroom activities

Supporting the learning, progress and wellbeing of students

Assisting with behaviour management and promoting a positive learning environment

Contributing to a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom culture

Supporting students with SEN or those who require extra pastoral care

Who We're Looking For:

Someone who is patient, empathetic, and confident working with young people

Previous experience in schools or youth support (desirable but not essential)

A team player who can adapt to different classrooms and challenges

Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach

A genuine interest in supporting pupils with diverse learning needs

An understanding of safeguarding and child protection (training provided)
