This forward–thinking accountancy practice is seeking a talented individual to join their dynamic General Practice team, working with a diverse portfolio of SMEs across multiple industries.

The Role

In this varied position, you ll take ownership of accounts preparation from start to finish under FRS102, FRS102A and FRS105, complete corporation tax returns (CT600s), and support the development of junior colleagues through mentoring and review. You ll also gain exposure to bookkeeping, VAT, and management reporting work, while working closely with a dedicated Manager/Senior Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

Preparation of year–end accounts for a variety of SME clients Completion of corporation tax computations and CT600s Review and support work produced by junior team members Bookkeeping, VAT returns, and management reporting Direct client communication, ensuring excellent service at all times Use of Iris, Xero, QuickBooks, and Sage About You:

ACA/ACCA qualified, part–qualified, or qualified by experience Strong knowledge of UK reporting standards (FRS102, 102A, 105) Confident in managing accounts preparation end–to–end Excellent communicator with a proactive, client–focused approach Ambitious, driven, and eager to progress quickly within practice The Benefits:
