Description
We’re recruiting for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join a well-established manufacturing company near Arundel. This is a part-time, permanent role offering flexibility across the working week (Monday–Friday), with 20–25 hours per week.
The ideal candidate will have solid experience in accounts administration, including purchase ledger, credit control, invoice processing, and bank reconciliations.
As an Accounts Assistant, your key responsibilities will include:
* Managing the purchase ledger
* Handling credit control
* Performing bank reconciliations
* Processing invoices
* Supporting month-end reporting
* Conducting financial analysis
Requirements:
* Proven experience as an Accounts Assistant
* AAT qualified or part-qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA (desirable)
* Strong understanding of accounts payable and receivable
* Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. Sage 200, Dynamics, Xero, QuickBooks)
* Valid UK driving licence and access to own vehicle

This is a permanent, part time position working 20-25 hours a week between Monday-Friday on an annual salary of £32,000 pro rata. The office is based near Arundel and you’ll need your own vehicle due to the location.
