Accounts Administrator - Brentwood, Essex

Are you early in your accounting journey? Looking for a role where you can build real-world experience and grow within a supportive team? We're working with a respected business in Brentwood to find a full-time Accounts Administrator who's ready to take the next step.

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a busy finance department, develop your skills, and contribute to the smooth running of day-to-day operations.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll be a key part of the finance team, helping to ensure everything runs efficiently behind the scenes. Your responsibilities will include:

Organising and preparing purchase invoices for validation and processing

Matching invoices to purchase orders using internal systems (Sage200)

Investigating and resolving invoice discrepancies with suppliers and internal departments

Assisting with weekly subcontractor payments and handling related queries

Reconciling supplier statements and identifying any inconsistencies

Supporting general inbox management and administrative tasks within the finance team

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who's enthusiastic, organised, and ready to learn. You don't need years of experience, but a strong work ethic and a proactive attitude will get you far in this company.

Confident using Outlook, Excel, and Word

Excellent organisational and communication skills

Able to manage your workload independently and prioritise effectively
