Account Payable Clerk (6 month FTC)

Description

Marc Daniels are working with an exciting company based in Central London who are looking for someone to join their dynamic team. This is a 6-month fixed-term contract for an Accounts Payable (AP) Clerk. You will be responsible for managing the company's outgoing payments for the UK legal entities. This includes processing invoices, ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors, and reconciling accounts. The role is a critical part of the organization and contributes to its financial success.

Key Responsibilities:

Review and verify invoices and check requests.

Sort, code, and match invoices.

Enter and upload invoices into the system.

Track expenses and process expense reports.

Support the preparation of payment runs.

Reconcile accounts payable transactions.

Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date.

Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues.

What we're looking for:

Strong organizational skills and a high level of accuracy.

Experience with Excel.

Familiarity with accounting software and procedures.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage relationships with internal and external partners.

A positive, can-do attitude, and a sense of ownership over your work.

Experience working within a multi-site organization is advantageous.
