Up for sale I have a German made, Hohner Verdi IIIM piano accordion.

Both the bass and treble reeds are tuned to 440Hz, +19 CENTS on A4.

The bass valves have been replaced.

The chest side bellows tape has been re-taped.

The accordion has been serviced.

It has 120 basses, piano accordion model, manufactured circa 1970’s.

It has 41 treble keys, 3 sets of treble reeds (LMM).

The treble keyboard measures 19 1/8” ranging from F to A and has 5 sets of bass reeds.

White key width is 19.5mm.

General condition is very good.

Good quality instrument, ideal for beginners/ intermediate players instrument, or someone who wants it as a second instrument for music sessions etc.

It weighs 10.2kg.

It has 5 treble couplers. Starting from the top, they are.

Bassoon (L), Bandoneon (LM), Master (LMM), Tremolo (MM), Clarinet (M).

It has 3 bass couplers, master coupler, low and high reeds.

All straps are original and in good condition.

It comes with the original fibre case.

Both the treble and bass reeds have been tuned to A=440Hz. A4= +24 cents.

The compression is excellent.

It is a 120 bass accordion, which covers all keys. It has 6 rows of bass buttons, these are, counter bass, fundamental bass, major chords, minor chords, seventh chords and diminished.

It has also been serviced and some cosmetic touches applied.

I have kept the price of all my accordions to an absolute minimum. Accordions, by nature, are very complex and have an extraordinary number of moving parts (the bigger they are, the more work is involved) and therefore consume a vast amount of time in an overhaul to bring them up to a high standard of playability. Please bear this in mind when you consider buying one.

If you are willing to arrange and pay for a courier, I will give the weight of the accordion for postage purposes, where the buyer can arrange a courier to pick it up from my premises. I am prepared to pack the accordion free of charge, but I will not be liable for any damage that might occur in transportation. It is up to the individual whether they insure it or not.

Alternatively, I can do the courier arrangements and packing for a flat rate of £30 (mainland UK), £50 N.I., £40 Highlands and Islands, this does not include insurance.
