Baile, 80 Bass, 3 Voice (LMM), Piano Accordion.

Up for sale, I have a Baile, 80 bass piano accordion. Chinese made, (Circa, 1960's/70’s) This one is better built than the more modern ones produced today, in my opinion.

It has 37 treble keys, 3 voice (LMM). The treble keyboard measures 17 1/4" ranging from G to G and has 5 sets of bass reeds.

General condition I would say is fair. The usual bumps and scuffs for an instrument of its age. There are 2 pieces of trim missing from the grill. This does not affect the sound or playability of the accordion.

Good beginners instrument, or someone who wants it as a second instrument for music sessions etc.
It has 7 couplers, which are,
Bassoon (L), Bandoneon (LM), Master (LMM), Tremolo (MM) and Clarinet (M). Two of the couplers are repeated, clarinet and bassoon.

Compression is very good.

It is an 80 bass accordion, which has 5 rows of buttons, these are, fundamental bass, counter bass, major chords, minor chords and seventh chords.

The accordion has been re-valved where required, and tuned, both treble and bass to concert pitch (A = 440Hz).

The tremolo tuning is +19 cents on A4.

Keyboard measures from G to G, 17.25”

It weighs 9.7kg, 21.2lbs.

It comes with replacement shoulder straps. All other straps are original.

It has also been serviced and some cosmetic touches applied. It comes with its original hard case.

I have kept the price of all my accordions to an absolute minimum. Accordions, by nature, are extraordinarily complex and have an extraordinary number of moving parts (the bigger they are, the more work is involved) and therefore consume a vast amount of time in an overhaul to bring them up to a high standard of playability. Please bear this in mind when you consider buying one.

If you are willing to arrange and pay for a courier, I will give the weight of the accordion for postage purposes, where the buyer can arrange a courier to pick it up from my premises. I am prepared to pack the accordion free of charge, but I will not be liable for any damage that might occur in transportation. It is up to the individual whether they insure it or not.

Alternatively, I can do the courier arrangements and packing for a flat rate of £30 (mainland UK), £50 N.I., £40 Highlands and Islands, this does not include insurance.
