Mathematics Tutoring – GCSE, A-Level, and University Support
Hello! My name is Hersi, and I am an experienced mathematics tutor currently working as an actuary at an asset management firm in London. I hold a master's degree from King's College London, graduating with First-Class Honours, and I am in the process of completing my actuarial exams.
My Experience:
I have been tutoring mathematics since 2017, starting at a secondary school in North West London. Since then, I have worked with a diverse range of students, from young learners preparing for their SATs to final-year university students tackling advanced mathematical concepts.
Additionally, I have university-level teaching experience, having worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at King’s College London, where I taught Calculus and Mathematical Finance.
Tutoring Approach:
I tailor each lesson to suit the individual needs of my students, ensuring they gain confidence and a deep understanding of the subject. Whether you need support with coursework, exam preparation, homework, or university applications (including personal statements), I can provide structured guidance.
I also offer group tutoring for 2-6 students—a great option for friends or classmates looking to study together.
