We are currently seeking a freelance programmer to work on a couple of projects we have, for approximately 1 month.

The programmer will be working in our central Bristol office, between 10:30am and 5:30pm, Monday to Friday.

There may be a 'possibility' of on-going part-time work; therefore the position is best suited to freelancers that are willing to go part time employed in the future.

Non-Disclosure agreements will need to be signed for this work, and all rights to all scripts are to be signed over to, and wholly owned by, our company.

Skills Required:

The following skills are a must!

* Knowledge of Linux o/s (at a command line level) is required.
* A good knowledge of php programming, ideally experience in
* Python, although this is not essential as it can be learned on the job.
* Experience with database programming, ideally MySQL.
* Ability to communicate well with both programmers and non-programmers.
* Ability to create and maintain change-logs of work done, and workflow diagrams of how various scripts interact with each other.

Skills it is an advantage to have:

* The following skills are not essential, but would be an advantage.
* Knowledge of security testing is an advantage.
* Previous experience creating web apps is also an advantage.
* Experience in any form of SaaS environment is an advantage.

Hours, Remuneration & Start Date:

10:30am to 5:30pm Mon-Fri, with 30mins lunch break & 2 x 15min teat breaks. (7 hours per day work).

Approx. 1 months work initially, with possibility of on-going part time work.

Our budget for the months’ work (for the hours stated) is £1700, and the programmer is to invoice our Ltd company for the work.

We will pay this amount in 4 separate milestones of £425. The milestones will be realistic, and agreed with the freelancer prior to the start of the work.

The start date for this project depends on the applications we receive, but could be as soon as the 20th of April 2012, so you must be available for interviews and an immediate start.
