Market is a privately owned restaurant set in the heart of Camden. We are open 7 days a week but closed on Sunday evening. We seat 38 people downstairs and also have a private room for up to 12 people which is booked out most weekends. We offer a daily changing, seasonal menu, using fresh ingredients, cooked from scratch.

We are looking for a full time sous chef to join our small, enthusiastic team. This would be an ideal job for a strong, committed chef de partie who is looking to move up to the next stage of their career.

Market has been voted best local restaurant in London and has received a Michelin Bib Gourmand for the last 4 years.

We are looking for the following:
Someone with a minimum 4 years experience working in a busy, well established quality restaurant or gastropub.
Able to work calmly under pressure, be a good team player and an organised worker.
Capable of running a busy service, doing the ordering and providing input in creating the menus.
Excellent spoken and written English and permission to work in the UK is essential.

In return we will offer a competitive salary, based on a 6 shift week, though normally working a 7 shift week.
