• Must speak fluent conversational English
• Preferably healthcare background, though not all clients need experienced carers
• Clients appreciate good cooks

EXAMPLE OF ONE OF OUR CURRENT LIVE-IN JOBS:

Lovely couple with short term memory loss living in historic city of Winchester, 65 miles south west of London. Nearby family support. Some experience helpful but not essential. Pay £79 per day. Must be a driver. Must commit to working through Christmas and New Year (earn extra over this period) to at least end January 2010.

WHAT BEING A LIVE-IN CARER INVOLVES:

• Living in the homes of elderly clients, in greater London and also all over mainland Britain
• Level 1 is mainly housekeeping (cooking, shopping, washing, ironing, light cleaning, companionship etc)
• Level 2 will also include more personal care (assisting the client with some of dressing, washing, continence, medication, moving & handling etc) or possibly looking after someone with dementia
