There are 5 reasons why a car has power but won't start:

  1. Insufficient fuel. First, check if there is enough fuel. Without gasoline as the power source, the car naturally won't start. If the issue is due to lack of fuel;

Solution: You can ask nearby car owners for help, borrow fuel, or tow the car to a gas station for emergency measures;

  1. Incorrect gear position. Normally, the correct gear positions for starting an automatic car are P or N. If the driver carelessly leaves the gear in R or another position, it will not only prevent the car from starting but also pose a safety hazard;

Solution: Carefully check if the gear is in the correct position. If it's not, adjust it promptly. Once the gear is correctly positioned, try starting the car again;

  1. Electrical or electronic failure. If this is the cause, there will usually be no warning signs before the car fails to start—it will happen very suddenly;

Solution: It is recommended to take the car to a 4S shop or repair shop to fix the electrical or electronic issues. Owners cannot resolve these problems themselves and may inadvertently cause new issues, leading to unnecessary losses;

  1. Fuel system failure. Possible issues include a malfunctioning fuel pump, blocked fuel lines, clogged fuel filters, carbon buildup on spark plugs, or damaged fuel injectors;

Solution: It is recommended to take the car to a 4S shop or repair shop to fix the fuel system. Owners cannot resolve these problems themselves and may inadvertently cause new issues, leading to unnecessary losses;

  1. Ignition system failure. Common issues include faulty spark plugs, delayed ignition, or premature ignition;
