86Generally speaking, there's no real need to expose a new car to intense sunlight. Simply ventilating it by opening the windows while parked in the sun is sufficient. Below are the hazards of sun exposure and maintenance tips for new cars:
Hazards of sun exposure for new cars:
Items containing compressed gas or lithium batteries are prone to explosion or combustion under high temperatures. If occupants remain in the vehicle during such incidents, unpredictable harm may occur. Such items include lighters commonly used by gentlemen, hydrating sprays frequently carried by ladies, cooling sprays often used in summer, as well as power banks. These items are best stored in the glove compartment or other areas avoiding direct sunlight – though ideally not kept in the car at all.
New car maintenance:
Whenever possible, park your vehicle in a garage. Avoid parking in strong sunlight to minimise exposure, and reduce rain contact. When parking elsewhere, refrain from haphazard parking that obstructs others, as this may lead to malicious scratches on your car's paintwork.
