Reset procedure for the Range Rover Evoque tire pressure light: First, start the engine, press the menu button on the steering wheel to display the mileage interface on the dashboard, then press the down arrow button on the steering wheel, followed by the R button in the middle of the dashboard. Some English words will appear on the dashboard, then press the plus sign on the right side of the steering wheel and wait for about three seconds, and the tire pressure will be reset.

Strictly speaking, tire pressure refers to the pressure of the air inside the tires. In car maintenance, the engine is the heart of the car, and damage to the engine can lead to the end of the car's lifespan. Therefore, tire pressure is the blood pressure of the car, playing a crucial role in the car's performance and power. The Range Rover Evoque actually features intricate lines across its entire front. Although they appear in a horizontally balanced manner, the sense of layering is still very evident. The front face is embedded with an abstract grille, and the engine guard gives it a more crossover feel.

To reset the tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) light on a Range Rover Evoque, follow these steps. First, ensure all tires are inflated to the correct pressure, as specified in the owner’s manual or on the driver’s door sill placard. With the ignition on (engine off), navigate to the vehicle information menu using the steering wheel controls. Select "Tyre Pressure" and confirm the pressures are correct. Hold the "OK" button to reset the system. The light should turn off after a short drive.

If the light persists, check for punctures or sensor faults. The TPMS uses wheel-mounted sensors to monitor pressure, and a faulty sensor may require professional diagnostics. For 2020+ models with the Touch Pro Duo infotainment, access the settings via the central screen: go to "Vehicle," then "Tyre Pressure," and confirm reset.

Regularly check pressures manually, as temperature changes can affect readings. Underinflated tires reduce fuel efficiency and increase wear. Overinflation can compromise handling. The Evoque’s system is sensitive, so reset only after correcting pressures.

A mechanic’s perspective: The TPMS reset is straightforward but often overlooked. After inflating tires to the correct PSI, use the dashboard menu to recalibrate. If the light stays on, one of the sensors might be faulty—common in older Evoques. Diagnostic tools can pinpoint which sensor needs replacing. Avoid ignoring the warning; incorrect pressures strain the suspension and increase braking distances.
