To connect the Mercedes E260 Bluetooth to your phone, follow these 3 steps:

  1. Establish a pairing relationship with the car's Bluetooth device. On your phone's home screen, open Settings,

then click on Device Connection in the settings interface,

and turn on Bluetooth in the Device Connection interface.

Enable the Bluetooth function on the car's Bluetooth device,

and set your phone's Bluetooth to "Discoverable";

  1. Next, search for Bluetooth devices on your phone. Once found, select it to pair and connect.

The default pairing code for Bluetooth is usually "0000" or "1234". After successful pairing, the connection is established.

  1. Once the car's Bluetooth and your phone's Bluetooth are successfully paired, you can make and receive calls. You can also play music on your phone and enjoy it through the car's Bluetooth system.

The Mercedes E260 retains the front-end design of the current E-Class Elegance model, featuring the iconic upright star emblem and multi-slat grille that are hallmark Mercedes elements.

However, the new model isn't entirely unchanged. The redesigned multi-slat grille incorporates more rounded curves, giving the front end a less rigid appearance while maintaining its business-oriented demeanor and adding a touch of modernity. The intricately styled split front bumper further enhances its aesthetic appeal.

A Mercedes technician’s perspective: Pairing issues often stem from incorrect sequence. Always start with the car’s system before activating phone Bluetooth. The E260’s MBUX system prioritises security, so ensure your phone isn’t paired to another device. For stable connections, keep your phone within 1 metre during setup. If the system freezes, hold the audio power button for 10 seconds to reboot.

To connect your Mercedes E260 to your phone via Bluetooth, follow these steps. First, ensure your car’s ignition is on and the infotainment system is active. On the dashboard display, navigate to the 'Telephone' menu, then select 'Connect Device'. On your phone, enable Bluetooth and search for available devices. Select 'MB E260' or a similar name from the list. A pairing code will appear on both screens – confirm they match and accept the connection.

For iPhones, ensure 'Show Notifications' is enabled to access calls and messages. Android users may need to grant additional permissions. If pairing fails, restart both devices and delete any old Bluetooth connections from the car’s memory. The Mercedes E260 supports Bluetooth audio streaming, so you can play music directly from your phone once connected.

Common issues include outdated software – check for updates via Mercedes’ MBUX system. If problems persist, consult the owner’s manual or visit a Mercedes dealership for assistance.
