For cars with less than 20,000 kilometers, it is not necessary to add fuel additive. The main function of fuel additive is to help fuel burn completely, effectively reducing and removing carbon deposits inside the engine. New cars and vehicles that frequently drive on highways generally have fewer carbon deposits in the engine. As long as you refuel at reputable gas stations with the correct gasoline grade, there is usually no need to use fuel additive.

Notes: Fuel additive should be added before refueling. When refueling, you should first pour the fuel additive into the fuel tank, and then add gasoline. This ensures that the fuel additive mixes thoroughly with the gasoline. The primary purpose of adding fuel additive to a car is to promote complete combustion of gasoline and help clean carbon deposits.

Although fuel additive is beneficial for vehicles, excessive use can be harmful. Fuel additive should not be used excessively over a long period, as it can cause certain damages to the engine. For example, long-term excessive use may increase carbon deposits in the combustion chamber, and in severe cases, it may lead to engine knocking or detonation. Additionally, the exhaust emissions from the vehicle may fail to meet standards.
