You can wear a skirt for a driving test. However, it is not advisable to wear one during practical driving lessons, especially long skirts, as they may get caught on the brake pedal. It is recommended to opt for loose, lightweight, and sweat-absorbing clothing.

When taking a driving test, it is best to wear slightly loose clothing, but avoid anything too exaggerated. Some well-designed garments may have ties or decorative elements, and larger designs could become obstacles during the test, making it difficult to operate the vehicle.

Apart from avoiding long skirts, wearing high heels is also strictly prohibited. High heels compromise driving safety by elevating the foot's pivot point, which increases the force and angle required to press the brake pedal. Sometimes, drivers may even need to tiptoe to reach the pedal, significantly impairing its effectiveness. Moreover, prolonged driving in high heels can lead to foot muscle cramps and strains. It is best to wear flat shoes, such as canvas shoes or other types of flat footwear.
