Position – Customer service advisor.

Location – Sighthill Edinburgh.

Paid hours – 40 hours per week.

Monday – Friday with some weekend work required.

We are the country’s largest independent Self Storage company. We have four sites across the central belt of Scotland, and have been operating for over 50 years.

We currently have a vacancy for a customer service administrator based at our Sighthill facility in Edinburgh. This is a 40 hour per week, permanent position covering Monday to Friday whilst there will be a requirement to work some weekends to cover holidays etc.

We are looking for someone experienced in a sales / customer service based environment, with the communication skills required to provide clear and precise information, to close the sale, whilst offering excellent customer service.

Primary Duties include the following –

Answering inbound telephone calls from potential and existing customers.
Dealing with sales enquiries by phone, website, or face to face.
Providing tours around the site explaining how Self Storage operates.
Data input using our in-house operating system as well as Microsoft Word / Excel.

Administration Duties include the following –

Enquiry handling to ISO 9001 standards.
Attention to detail is paramount.
Filing, Key holder, Security, Health and Safety, Housekeeping.
Warehouse work, receiving and dispatching deliveries for customers.

Secondary Duties include.

Cleaning the storage facility.
Operating a forklift to offload / load customer’s goods (Training provided)
Drive the company van when required.

Competencies required include.

Excellent communicator – Experience of a sales environment - Have an eye for detail - proven ability in administration / procedural environment – Have a can-do attitude. Clean driving license.
