2006 Vauxhall Combo 1.3 CDTI

84000 Miles

In need of some work:

Drivers footwell is damp, apparently a very common problem, looks like a previous owner has attempted a repair but with no luck.

Other issue is the engine occasionally goes into limp mode, it was a regular occurance but the MAF was changed back in February and cured this until the other day, it's only happened twice but seems to be when the engine is put under heavy load, eithier on a long hill climb or extended motorway speeds. It drives fine normally and should the limp mode become regular I have driven it in the past with the MAF unplugged aslong as you dont mind driving with a check engine light on. The replacement MAF was an OEM BOSCH so I believe the issue is likely a sticking wastegate valve as the problem is intermittent, usually once the engine is up to temperature and the fault clears if you knock the engine off at the next junction and restart. If only driving around town and not using enough RPM to call on the turbo it drives fine all day long. I've enquired with a local mechanic and given the age and low mileage it's likely that a TerraClean engine clean would cure the fault so a relativly easy and inexpensive remedy although this is only speculation and not been diagnosed in any way.

Other than that its been a good van in the time I've had it, it's done mainly motorway miles but my work commitments have changed and I've decided to change to a small car instead.

Oil and filters have been changed every January, front tyres changed this January, MAF changed in Feb. Rear brakes, pads & cables changed recently. New pollen filter. Rear suspension springs replaced same time as brakes .

CD player, Air Conditioning still cold, mesh bulkhead which splits in 2 for longer loads, heavy duty security locks, strip lights in rear, additional floor and load bay is also carpeted which is great for preventing loads shifting. Reversing sensors. I also have a spare air filter as I was sent 2 in error the last time I ordered one and I also have the original MAF that was removed as the current fault leads me to believe it may not be the MAF and the part may still be servicable

£1195 ONO, open to offers given the faults, current guide price in pictures to give an idea of value if faults are rectified
