Chilled Warehouse Team Leader – Tewkesbury

Hours: 37.5 per week, 5 days over 7 (shift rota)

Sector: Food Production / Chilled Warehouse

Type: Full–time, Permanent

Ready to step into a fast–paced environment where no two days are the same? We're looking for a motivated Chilled Warehouse Team Leader to guide a busy warehouse team and keep operations running smoothly.

The Role

As the Chilled Warehouse Team Leader, you'll be at the heart of daily operations–driving team performance, keeping stock moving accurately, and ensuring the warehouse stays safe, clean, and efficient.

You'll lead a team of operatives, support the warehouse supervisor, and help make sure products are picked, received, loaded, and returned correctly. If you enjoy problem–solving, motivating people, and keeping things running like clockwork, this role is for you.

What You'll Be Doing

Leading and supporting a busy warehouse team

Overseeing stock movement and accuracy

Maintaining a clean, safe chilled warehouse environment

Supervising safe loading and unloading of vehicles

Monitoring team performance and offering guidance

Providing supervisor cover when needed

Encouraging open communication and a positive team culture

Handling reasonable additional tasks as required

What You'll Bring

Strong communication and relationship–building skills

Good understanding of Health & Safety

Solution–focused mindset

Confidence in resolving issues calmly and fairly

Desirable:

FLT or PPT licence

Previous experience as a Team Leader in a busy warehouse

Experience in food or chilled environments

Competent PC skills

Strong leadership and decision–making ability
