Warehouse Operative

Description

We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative/ FLT driver for our Client based in Trafford Park, M17.

Company is a global provider of stored electrical–energy solutions for the transportation and industrial markets.

The role will involve operating Counterbalance truck however you will be required to perform other tasks including manual handling up to 25kg solo lifting.

It will involve heavy lifting as the product will include wide range of batteries for different uses.

The purpose of this role keeps the production line fed and replenished at all times / housekeeping and other tasks ad–hoc and is integral to the daily production.

Shifts:

Monday to Friday – rotating 3 weeks 6am–2pm and 1 week of 8am–4pm.

Overtime hours available on Saturday at x1.5 pay rate and Sunday – double pay (after working 40 hours/week)

Pay rate: GBP12.21/hour

Uplift pay rate after reaching 12 weeks

Requirements:

Preferably experienced in Counterbalance driving

Ability to heavy lift

Manual skills

Analytical thinking

Preferably someone with engineering skills or experience

Drug & Alcohol and eye vision test will be conducted before start date.
