Warehouse Operative (Counterbalance Forklift Licence Required)

Location: Cramlington

Employer: Manpower (on behalf of our client)

Contract: Temporary – minimum 1 month

Pay Rate: 12.21 per hour

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am–4pm

Manpower is currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative with a valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence to join our client based in Cramlington. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience within a busy manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Operate counterbalance forklift trucks safely and efficiently

Load and unload vehicles

Rack and stack goods in designated areas

Locate materials using the SAP computer system

Perform physical stock counts

Maintain excellent housekeeping standards across all warehouse, drum park, solvent storage and external areas

Follow all warehouse and related Standard Operating Procedures

Adhere to all HSE requirements, including reporting procedures

Wear appropriate PPE at all times

Requirements

Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (essential)

Previous experience in a warehouse environment

Experience within pharmaceutical or chemical manufacturing is advantageous

Good organisational and time management skills

Ability to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines

Basic understanding of COSHH and manual handling regulations
