Transport Planner

Location: Stowmarket, IP14 2ED

Annual Salary: Competitive depending on experience

Hours: 7.30am – 4.30pm

We re looking for a Transport Planner to take charge of concrete deliveries in a fast–paced, dynamic environment. You ll be of our scheduling operations, ensuring every delivery runs smoothly and every customer is satisfied.

Key Responsibilities of the Transport Planner:

Coordinate and schedule daily concrete deliveries. Timely and accurate input of all customer concrete orders into the system. Respond promptly to all customer queries and complaints. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth operations. Provide support for major contracts and schemes, focusing on production and transport capacity planning. Build strong relationships with new and existing customers Liaise daily with relevant parties to inform them of their work schedules. Maintain and update batching plant spreadsheets Plan and despatch customer orders in a cost–effectively. Conduct month–end stocktakes as required. Liaise with the Vehicle Workshop Manager regarding truck maintenance schedules.
