Ad hoc HGV Class 2 RoRo Driver - Refuse & Recycling Site
Hounslow
We are currently seeking a reliable and safety-conscious AD HOC HGV Class 2 RoRo Driver to join our team at a busy refuse and recycling site. This is a great opportunity to contribute to essential public services while gaining valuable experience in the waste management industry.
Key Responsibilities: Operate a Roll-on/Roll-off (RoRo) HGV vehicle to collect and transport waste containers safely and efficiently.
Perform daily vehicle safety checks and report any defects or issues promptly.
Load and unload skips or containers using the RoRo system, ensuring safe securing of loads.
Follow scheduled routes and instructions from the transport team.
Maintain accurate paperwork for collections and deliveries.
Adhere to health, safety, and environmental standards at all times.
Requirements: Full UK HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence.
Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
Proven experience operating RoRo or skip vehicles.
A strong understanding of driver hours and transport regulations.
Flexible, dependable, and committed to safe working practices.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
