Production Operative with CB Forklift License Location: IP postcode areaJob Type: Temp-to-perm, Full-timeSalary: GBP12.50 per hour We are seeking a dedicated Production Operative with a Counterbalance (CB) Forklift License to join our team in the food production industry. Initially focusing on warehouse responsibilities, the role offers the opportunity to progress to milling tasks. This position provides a clear path from temporary to permanent employment with competitive benefits.
Day-to-day of the role: Operate a counterbalance forklift to manage inventory and move materials within the warehouse.Handle heavy lifting of 25kg bags, ensuring proper handling and storage.Transition to milling operations, learning and taking on more responsibilities over time.Maintain a clean and safe work environment across three buildings.Work a 40-hour week with the potential for overtime at 1.5 times the normal rate. Required Skills & Qualifications: Valid Counterbalance (CB) Forklift License.Experience in a warehouse or production environment, specifically within food production.Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 25kg.Strong commitment to safety standards and quality control.Excellent time management and organisational skills.Ability to start immediately is highly preferred.
