Location: Kings Norton, Birmingham

Pay Rate: 13.00 per hour

Contract Type: Temporary

Start Date: 25th November

Working Hours: Tuesday to Friday, 7:30am – 4:30pm

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Industrial Sewing Machinist to join our client's soft furnishings production team. You will be working on a range of industrial machines to create high–quality cushions, curtains and other soft furnishings for showroom environments.

Key Duties of an Industrial Sewing Machinist

Operating industrial sewing machinery including:Flat bed sewing machinesOver lockersBlind hem machinesProducing cushions, curtains and other bespoke soft furnishingsWorking accurately to patterns, designs and specificationsMaintaining a clean, safe and organised work areaSupporting the wider production team when requiredExperience & Requirements

Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar industrial sewing role (desired)Proven experience using flat bed machines, over lockers, and blind hem machinesReliable, punctual and able to work independentlyHigh attention to detail and strong craftsmanshipWhy Apply?
